Not really. They're extreme right on the economic spectrum. Being socially liberal doesn't change that fact.

Liberals and conservatives are both the opposite extremes of each other. Republicans say gay people shouldn't be able to get married. Liberals say that the minority of people should get special treatment. Libertarians fight for equality of all races, or cultures.
