The word treason gets thrown around way too much these days.
-
Edited by Britton: 6/1/2015 4:51:42 PMI'm aware. But he, by definition, committed treason.
-
And Obama defies Congress.
-
Yes and? The actions of one president for not justify the actions of another. Its like saying a murder isn't that bad because of people like Hitler. You're trying to justify a bad action with another bad action. It doesn't work that way.

Edited by SSG ACM: 6/4/2015 1:14:19 AMMy point is that you make it appear that he was arguable the worst President. Why? Because of financial reasons? That's a poor reason. If he didn't exist and if we got another President like Nixon, what would the outcome of America turn out to be? Better? Reaganomics got us out of the stagflation of the 1970s that was a result of Nixon's administration, and you argue that Nixon was better. Not only did Reagan help America's defense, but it also helped the world to tell the Soviets that there not a power house enabled the justification to oppress democracy. After Reagan increased America's defense budget, did the rest of the following President's make anything more dramatically different regarding our spending in our military? No! Guess what country is the number one in the world when it comes to military spending:
America! Spending less than 10% to our defense today.
You concur that President Obama is better even after the Benghazi incident? You know what he did while the event was taking place?
NOTHING!
Every event that concerns Americans is always told to the President. Do you know how many minutes it takes to notify the President of international news regarding American embassies?
Less than three!
Remember Bergdahl? We had five (You know how many that is Britton? 5! Número Cinco!) Guantanamo terrorist leaders in our custody, and we traded them for a disobedient soldier, Bergdahl! And you know what we did with Bergdahl?
We put him in jail!
President Andrew Jackson committed genocide on American soil, and he was the first President to get impeached! And you have the well-motivated mindset to preach to everyone that Reagan was the worst?! It's sickening that the truth is not extruded from you lips, and you approve it. Did you even consider why some regard Reagan as the best? He bonded families (in America and in Europe), and he didn't have to rule the world to do so.
-
Lol I have never once made a case that Obama or Nixon is better than Reagan. My stance is and will be that he belongs in ranks of the worst presidents. He may not be the worst, but his is definitely in that list. And I love that your justification is "look at all the other bad people!"

Edited by SSG ACM: 6/4/2015 1:35:53 AMLOL@U.
"Reagan was arguably the worst President." -Britton
Do you know what "worst" means? It is a superlative comparison among more than two other things; thus, you have concluded that every other President is better than the one you have accused: Reagan.
-
Do you know what arguably means? It means there will not be consensus but you can make a case for it.
-
Edited by SSG ACM: 6/4/2015 3:37:52 PMNice save (even out of the fact that you enthusiastically present the case).
You hear that everyone: Britton agrees Andrew Jackson is better.
-
Edited by Britton: 6/4/2015 7:43:33 PMNo I have never presented a specific ranking, just that he's one of the worst.
-
Who would be in your top 10 the best? I have Reagan, as well as Clinton, Washington, Bush Jr., etc, and out of about 40, you consider Reagan your top 10 worst?
-
Reagan is certainly in the 10 worst list. I don't feel like doing the level of thorough investigation required to give you a top 10 right now.

So you as well agree that President Obama is better than Reagan?
-
Yes, but not by a lot.
-
You concur that President Obama is better even after the Benghazi incident? You know what he did while the event was taking place?
Nothing.
Every event that concerns Americans is always told to the President. And you know what we did with Bergdahl?
We put him in jail.
I guarantee none of those events would have happened under Reagan's administration. And you still consider President Obama to be better?
-
Absolutely. Ronald Reagan one of the worst presidents to ever exist. As I said, Obama isn't much better.
-
*sigh*
I guess everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
-
Well, to be honest I don't know too much about the foreign policies of different presidents. And I'm not justifying Obama's foreign policy. But when I say that Reagan was worse than Obama, I mean economically.
-
He did it in his second term?
-
If you don't know about it then you have no business defending his presidency.
-
Edited by SSG ACM: 6/1/2015 7:24:09 AMDo or do you not know? It's not a hard question.
-
Yes I know.
-
Then why not state it?
-
Because you should already know if you are choosing to defend him.
