You clearly never worked on a dairy farm. Cows, and any ruminant animal, will regurgitate partially digested food (called "cud) and chew it up again.

Right. But I'm not talking about the action. I'm talking about the wording and the language. He doesn't spit it out for lunch. He spits it out and then eats it again for lunch.
