Should I get the game if I've never really played an Rpg before and want to get more into the genre.

Edited by higgybunch: 6/2/2015 8:09:44 PMBe careful not to feel overwhelmed. It's a ton of shit to see all at once. Take your time, use the internet for help with the rpg elements like skill trees and alchemy/crafting. Remember it's not a race! Take time to read and listen to the dialogue. Engage in the world and if it takes you three or four months to finally finish the main story, that's okay. You do you and don't feel overwhelmed because it will undoubtedly feel bigger than any game you've ever touched and that can be hard at first. Good luck bro

Thanks for the advice

Definitely dude. I love my RPG games but have never played any of the Witcher series and absolutely loved it. As with all combat there is a few glitches in terms of NPc sizes and thus not registering hits when they should have. Even decided to read the books as I felt so immersed in the story, plus wanted to know more about that damn good looking Cirilla.

Yes, I would say it is one of the best examples of a story driven rpg. Don't get discouraged by all the dialogue.
