I think the gunsmith is now in charge of rerolling IB weapons as well as other legendaries, Lord Salad got demoted.
Check the recent update from Bungie, I'm pretty sure they said in that but I don't have a link.
Good info though, thanks! Is the gear dropping going to be light 36 or 42 in line with the new level cap?

Mind you , your rewarded with etheric light on 7 and 9 wins I think in toO .. And the gear sold There is 42 light . Etheric light is awarded at 3 and 5 in iron banner so maybe the same principle with armour . Or one item at 42 and one at 36 like what was done previously . I hope all at 42 though

You can argue for 33 because of Etheric light being sold but yeah that's how IB works. Who knows bungie might surprise us?

Let's hope so! IB was always one of the most viable ways for players to reach max level without raiding and for anyone that doesn't have the DLC they have very few ways to reach level 34 now and no access to any activities that drop light 42 gear. So I think Bungie will take pity on them, but that's just my theory, we'll find out in a couple of days.
