I'd say just as many don't want MM for end game events. So who should Bungie listen to?
Also just because they don't agree with your opinion doesn't mean they are ignoring you, or haven't heard you. They've given their reasons for not implementing MM in endgame events, whether you agree with them or not is irrelevant, they've heard you and given their answer. No MM for endgame. You want to keep petitioning for it, by all means go right on ahead, you may actually change their minds. but stop with the entitled whiny "Bungie doesn't listen to us" bullshit.

You didn't answer my question. You said "just as many people don't want optional MM". I asked you for evidence. Whether or not the polls "mean anything" isent the matter at hand. They still show that many people want it. The fact is you made a claim without any evidence and tried to shoot down my claim that has evidence. Whether the evidence is strong or not? Who cares. The fact I have any evidence at all shows that MM is an issue and that people DO want it.

But your "evidence" is screwed as well. How many people that play this game are on this forum? If you were to say the majority of people on this forum want MM you would be correct. But what % of the community is actually using this forum? There's more people on reddit than there is here. Some I'm willing to bet that less than 5% of the community even posts here. Neither one of you can claim anything.

I never said "Bungie doesn't listen to us". I even thanked them in my last sentence [b]for listening to us[/b] Dude they have made tons of changes and been working hard on this game. I hope it continues. But I still believe optional would help players get into the game more. It opens More doors then it Closes. Optional matchmaking would NOT have to be used. All the pre made team folk could still play the game exactly the same. It's does not hurt or effect you if done right. It would bring more people into the game. It would give you more people to play with. It would increase numbers. Increased numbers gives Bungie more money and resources to spend on making the game you enjoy with friends [b]even better !![/b]

Now with HoW and two big content areas (PoE and ToO) that both require pre made groups and forcing players to find our own ways to play the game the topic is front and center again.

2 parts of player base, 1 that comes onto forums, sees and votes, who probably came originally to fine a fireteam, another that does not even come online related to destiny, and is excluded from endgame..... Of the part that comes online, they vote in favor (the majority of them) for optional matchmaking... (there are not just as many that do not want it, just saying)

Of course on these forums they heavily favor MM, that's what half the people get on here to bitch about. Doesn't mean there aren't just as many (including Bungie at the moment) who don't want it. There's probably a very large number that don't even bother and want to do those activities but won't hassle with LFG. If they won't even hassle with LFG they probably won't poll the Destiny forum page. 81% of players have never done a raid. That's very sad numbers for Bungie. Even if you go high and say 50% of that 80 never made a high enough level character to enter a raid that means 30% found another reason not to enter that raid. And I'd bet no matchmaking is a big one. Pushing those players to use some outside website, or lack of information and they gave up. Those payers need and want matchmaking. Bungie is gonna lose this fight. It will effect sales. The "new" future of gaming appears to be always online and multiplayer. I can't believe companies will think a smart strategy is forcing players outside of their game to play their game. It's not smart business wise. Let me tell you a quick business story. A local strip club has a no alcohol county law. That club has to have two buildings and anytime you want boobs you walk in the left building, now you get thirsty, you have to leave and walk 45 feet away to separate building to buy booze, get a buzz and then want to see boobs you exit walk 45 feet go back through security and look at boobs and repeat. [b]guess what happened when another club built their boob/booze joint a 6 miles away and off county laws and could sell booze AND boobs in the same building?......any guess? ....the new club got crazy good business, made a fortune and the other club that was separate and involved 45 feet of walking lost sales and went under. True story !!! Think about it. [/b]

Flip it around my friend. The elitist dirt bags are the ones against it. who knows why. Most likely to continue to feel special. Don't use it if you don't like it , but please don't hold others back from playing the game they paid for.

I'm saying the majority of people who believe that MM wouldn't do endgame any good don't even bother to open match making posts anymore. This debate has been raging since day one, and if you had been here on day one you would know full well just how many players are against it. But we all got tired of beating a dead horse and getting into arguments over it. If Bungie decides to change it, I guarantee you'll see those against start to come out of the -blam!-ing woodwork. Also *you're. Proof read so people can't take cheap shots at your grammar.

Oops XD, I do proof read, sometimes things slip by though... So am I to understand there was no opposition to all the weapon nerfs and re-tuning that happened when people cried nerf? (I have been on forum since before autos were nerfed, and I did not notice a mass amount of nerf threads...) Only reason I Come here is to attempt to suggest helpful ideas, but if what you say is true, and this has been an issue since day one... I still do not understand why people would be against it being Optional :P I do not really suggest the MM (except for one today which I am now content to let die), I support it though. Ideas I have however are about vaultspace Issues (as well as a security blanket for people paranoid about losing collectibles) If your interested in though, I could send you the 2 links.

So for all you know it could be a sample of the same 200 people every time. I know i don't click on every MM post and vote in the poll. They are by no means an accurate representation of -blam!-ing anything except who voted on that particular pole. I could have a pole with 4 votes and all of them against MM. Does that mean 100% of gamers don't want MM? -blam!- no it doesn't. Just because you "for MM" guys shout louder doesn't mean you're in the majority. And quite frankly it doesn't matter what the numbers are, this isn't a democracy, it's the kingdom of Bungievision and as long as they don't believe MM is good for endgame, there will be no MM for endgame.

I don't want it and don't vote on every poll I see. I'm sure there are many others who don't vote as well. If Bungie made an official poll for it saying mandatory or as is, many would vote as is. If it was for optional or as is, optional would be favored as it wouldn't effect those who don't want to give scrubs freebees.
