EDIT: so your all taking this the wrong way, I'm not saying it's a cheese to use snipers and down him instantly because it's using what the game gives us and not exploiting anything BUT it's not really 100% Legit because Bungie never expected or wanted it to be done that way, why else would mines trigger at 50% and 25% and the debuff hit at 75%. We are exploiting that part of the game.

Was your LDR at 331 or 365? Because I only saw it doing 5k per crit

331, I have about 11 ethiric light so i should've ascended it but i just didn't feel the need to at the time.... bad choice, would've made it a lot easier.

Im guessing its 331 but yeah nothing better to use than the Spear it has the highest impact out of any sniper not to mention some have final round

How is this cheesing? They used guns provided by the game with the burn provided by the game .....they didn't go to spot where they couldn't get kill...they didn't used a glitch or anything.....why is this cheesing?

Yep true both are legit... one ( what i did) put everything into the very first minute while the other video is simply spreading the power out and taking their time but BOTH are legit strategies.

I mean the way it was intended to be done. Bungie didn't expect him to be dead and then you dismantle two sets of mines. They trigger at 50% health and 25%.

They do trigger at 50% and they kill him instantly then do two sets of mines before they've won. But as soon as skolas dies all the adds vanish so it's easy as to do the mines

I know, but it is exploiting the triggers in the game, the debuff at 75% and the mines at 50% and 25%

Exploiting your enemies weaknesses is one of the basics of any combat. If anything it shows how little actual thinking went into designing the fight when they're fully aware of what would happen if 3 people with gallys take on a boss with solar burn.

How is that not legit? That is a strategy. So by your own admission you are saying in war if I can snipe the enemy and have no casualties on my side I'm cheering, because I don't match my squad in. Damn you people are daft

Yeah exactly...with no checkpoints either its difficult to invest so much time...but I applaud people who work out another way
