Current-gen has been pretty disappointing as a whole for me. Admittedly, Destiny and Battlefield 4 are really the only things I play on my Xbox One (Destiny's gameplay is at least fun to play, and BF4 is working fine now). I sold AC: Unity a few days after I got it, played through the campaigns in Master Chief Collection, matchmaking didn't work, matchmaking still doesn't work for me even with the patch. Bloodborne is really the only PS4 exclusive I would play. Things that looked interested turned out to be not very desirable, and I don't really find any multi-plats to be worth my purchase. MGS V and maybe Halo 5 are the only games I'm getting this year.

I got both consoles and feel like I should have waited. I was off and on with destiny cause the multiplayers a mess. If that game had a ranked mode with as close to equal starts then I would probably stick with it. It was awesome to have custom control layouts on the ps4 though. Finally put crouch on L3. Lol I play nothing else really on the ps4 though. I got DA:I....but the combats just to slow and boring. Played a few indies....but just cause nothing else interested me....bloodborne would had been my cup of tea....till I found out it isn't full co-op experience so I didn't bother buying it. I recently played some dlc on destiny, I figured why not since I got the GE just lying there knowing I haven't played the dlcs. Over on xbox one....I impulse bought it right after seeing some alpha footage
I guess we can call it that?
of the competitive MP. It looked amazing and I said wth man I know I love halo. So I got the chiefs collection the day it came out and obviously got pissed off and salty about how bad it was. I'm not an idiot either though so I at least acknowledged the whole "why" of it. Then the halo 5 beta dropped. For me, in my opinion....felt like the pinnacle of my halo experience so far. Hands down the most fun I've had in YEARS! I couldn't stop playing it. And all it was, was the MP. That's basically the only reason I have an xbox. I could sell everything and be fine as long as I got halo and a mass effect game.
did you play the h5 beta? I know everyone didn't exactly love it
I bought mkX for xbox and traded it in the same week. I thought reptile would play like mk9s. Despite the many new features and how the game mechanics make it more competitive, it just didn't feel as fun for me. I got a copy of cod AW cause my friend bugged me much to get it, first cod I ever owned. Its an alright game, I don't really like how easy it is to die from first shot, but the amount of shit talking amongst the group I played with kinda salvaged the experience. I don't take the game too serious if and when I play, which isn't often. I also got a wii u....for my wife....it's our netflix station since it's hooked up on the big screen while the other two are on gaming monitors. Also got a psp vita.....for my wife...she doesn't even touch it. I can't play it cause my hands hurt pretty bad when I try to. Sorry for a long reply, but basically there's my experience so far with the regret in my impulse purchases. Reading the OPs quotes...man that makes me feel more regret....I can care less about stupid content exclusivity....or the dumb share button
Sure it's a nice feature...but not the top reason a person picks a console
...those are imo dumb reasons to choose 1 console over the other
I know through first hand experiende since my dumbass got a ps4 for destiny thinking the content would matter
....it's the games....that should be the most important reason...graphics take a backseat....anyone who bought a ps4 for that reason....wow...shoulda got a damn pc obviously right? Lol

Matchmaking definitely works now. It doesn't not work for one person

Get Ori and The Blind Forest. It smis fantastic. You should also try out Wolfenstein
-
I heard good things about both, they've seemed to have lived up to their hype. I've actually been meaning to buy Ori, just haven't got around to it yet. Thanks for the recommendations.

No problem man. I would also recommend shovel knight if you have $15 laying around
-
See, if you had the ps4 version of BF4 it would at least run higher than 720p lol.

Witcher 3?

I've been thinking about it, leaning towards a yes. Thanks for the recommendation.
