As far as I know, the left analog does nothing when pushed in (correct me if I'm wrong). Leave the D-Pad alone and utilize the left analog maybe? Click and hold will bring a small menu (move left for primary, up for secondary, right for heavy) then select with X.... or something along those lines. Edit: nvm, I'm a dummy, just realized left analog is sprint haha Ah well, hopefully this sparks a similar idea. I'm thinking something along the lines of how you used to select weapons in red dead redemption.
