You compared Destiny grind to Runescape grind... don't make me lol.
Destiny takes less than a month to max your character.
Runescape has 4,000 hours of gameplay just to max, not including hundreds of other activities.

I played 07 but only for a bit. Long enough to get 65 range and pk til edge was 6 people left.

The games have different styles. I meant it as "I understand grinding". Destiny grind isn't about maxing your character to 34, it's about getting certain weapons or items or specific gear rolls. And runescape also has substantially more content in it, so the grind is different, there are many ways to level up the different skills, and it was beneficial, because you would be making money to do other things while doing it, or you could purchase armor and weapons that the game wouldn't drop for you. You didn't have to grind rng with no reward, you could work your ass off and straight up buy that Shit. Two very different game types.

Destiny is not a grind game compared to other MMOs, it's a casual PvE Game.

It can be casually played, but somebody who barely plays won't stand a chance getting all the exotics or raid gear in a timely manner. I don't know what point you are trying to make, but it isn't working. Runescape was very casual friendly too.

I know plenty of people with FT jobs, kids, and S/O who don't play much and have everything. This game has weekly resets..like I said this game is for casuals, you don't have to play a tremendous amount of hours to have the best gear/best weapons/max level. On the other hand most MMOs require a large amount of hours to even come close to those goals.

Lol getting lucky with rng doesn't make the rule. My best friend has played for 700 hours and still doesn't have everything, he was still Bitching about VoC last night. And no, he didn't get it again this week.
