Bee's won't ever really sting you unless you get too close to their home to piss them off, or if you intentionally touch or grab them. If they fly around you and come to check you out, generally, you can easily shoo them off while they're still flying. It's only if they land on you, and you pick them off yourself or try to brush them off, that they'll attack. Other than that, they're easy going. Of course that's the hard part. You feel something crawling around on you and your first instinct is to remove it. That's really, the only time that I, personally, have been stung by them.
