How do you get the Arena elemental primaries? I thought those were only from the Trials.

No trials weapons are from trials. There are 2 types of arena weapons bought from Variks (no burn) or drops from skolas (with burn)

Drops off skolas. Possibly off 34 as well but I think just skolas . And they drop right when u kill him, not from the chest just like the exotic bounty item.

Thanks guys. I've only completed level 32 so far and didn't realize that!

Confirmed exotic armor chance from large chest as well. Still, I'd rather just leave that drop chance to the nightfall or Xur.
