Buy the sea shells from the merchant in novigrad town square.
Go to the blacksmith and dismantle them into pearls.
Sell the pearls.
Profit.

Never done this once and still have over 100,000 coin. If you just loot everything and sell off what you don't need and sell it to the right people, you don't need an exploit.
-
-
Nope. All you have to do is explore and don't buy expensive items. Only thing I've ever bought is alchemy items from the peller.
-
The game won't allow you to have over 64k.
-
If you don't quit the game it won't reset your coin. So yes, I do have that much.
-
So you keep your game on 24/7?
-
I just turn my system off without quitting the game. Hasn't messed up since the last patch. My power went out yesterday though, because of a storm. Hope it doesn't mess up my game.
-
Ahh smart, I forgot all about that feature. I apologize man and thanks for the tip
-
Yeah, I couldn't believe how easy it was, the vendor is right by the blacksmith in hierarch square
-
Is it still going?
-
Why play a video game, especially a single player game, if you're going to exploit the main purpose of the game? Witchers Hunt monsters for coin.
-
Because I enjoy killing monsters for fun. I don't need to be poor. If I find something I like at a merchant somewhere I like to buy it immediately as a matter of convenience. As you say it's single player, so shouldn't bother you how I play.
-
It wouldn't bother me if it were multiplayer either. I was just asking for a reason people exploit because it is something i personally do not understand.
-
Yea you work your ass off fighting a monster for 40 gold, that will repair one piece of gear if you're lucky. I've got over 10000 and it doesn't hurt the gameplay experience at all.
-
Every contract after white orchard is over 200 gold.
-
Yea with a recommended lvl of 18 or 20
-
I didn't call anyone a scrub for doing so, just don't understand the point.
-
Nah, jenny of the woods lvl 10, Swamp thing lvl 13, Shrieker i think is lvl 11, The grave hag lvl 12. All can be done at lvl 7 and were rewarded close to 300 coin each.
-
Eh, it's a waste to do that. I have 15k at level 15, I don't even know what to do with it all lol. I buy overpriced gems just so I spend it...
-
I found that tip earlier. The only problem with it is if you explore enough you'll end up with enough money anyway. I'm level 31 and have 43k. I rarely have anything to spend money on except buying the occasional bits of material I struggle to find.
-
Dude no way level 70 is the cap, I'm in Ard Skellig at level 23 got my ursine gear ready to upgrade but holding off to 27 so I can where enhances till I'm high enough to wear the superior as soon as I craft it. Main point is this game gets bigger with every step you take, if level 70 is really the level cap I'm in for one hell of a ride....
-
It's almost impossible to make it to lvl 40, there is just not enough quests that give exp.
-
You get exp from killing anything man, in fact there's trophys and weapons that give bonus exp for humans or nonhumans
-
Edited by Punch_Face_Champ: 6/2/2015 6:20:03 PMOnce you get to 36 you out lvl everything and only get 2 exp a kill. Needing 2000 exp per lvl, I would need to kill close to a 1000 enemies for one lvl. If I wanna use the lvl 46 sword I crafted, I would have to kill close to 10,000 enemies. Missions don't give exp at this point.

Lvl cap is 70
