Thorn needs a lower rate of fire. It's way to fast honestly that would balance it a lot.

Honestly if you can't use anything but thorn then YOU need to change the way you play. I can use thorn and just about any other gun. Do I like using thorn? No. I don't like feeling like a noob. Anyways enjoy your crutch gun.

I forgot to say I don't have it but I have hoc and I bearly use it not my play style . thorn is not a crutch it's just good. The vex is better or the even hawkmoon. But this game hates giving better stuff so I'm stuck with what I got. O and I used the iron banner pistol when that was at max lv over thorn for dragons breath. Thorn is no crutch my friend just good at best

Gotcha. Sorry about that. Thorn was actually my favorite exotic for a while :) I love the timers lash now though, the impact is insane and so is the range. Do you have the Red Hand IX? I'm going to get one as soon as I get 3 more marks. Lol I was stuck the whole week because I was 3 marks short. How's Hawkmoon compared to Timurs lash? I'm Xbox :(

I'm on ps4 and don't have HM this game hates me and only gives me everything I already have . I got the game when it came out gun wise I nearly have any thing to show for but I got great gear but nothing to right home about. All I got is 4 ICEBREAKER s Planck c 2 Dragon breath . 4 truths and 5 soruse . And all the exotic bounts are complete. Iv dismantled all my dups but I used my budys account it's fun. You can look forward to it when it comes available.

I just got last week. So before you say it. No I don't use it as a crutch weapon. I've done fine without it. Nor do I use it frequently. There are better exotics such as icebreaker or patience and time.
