I have run that set up on my two warlocks since I got my first one in a nightfall. I think it's balanced, not sure how many times Xur has sold it but he shouldn't, the only way it becomes a problem is if that bitch Xur makes it a problem

He sold it many, many, many times in both vanilla and TDB. So many times that Warlocks believed they were rigging Xur to sell it just to spite them.

I really only got to Xur for heavy ammo, anything beyond that is bitch play

Meh, I really couldn't care less what he sells or doesn't, he's part of the game and better gear for everyone just makes PvE that much easier. VFV rewards you for dieing and beyond doing the axiom bolt kill bounties for Eris back in TDB I haven't put them on since I got my OM a week or two after TDB dropped. I can see the appeal in ToO and skirmish, but if I'm running sunsinger in PvP I prefer Apo Veil and Radiant skin rather than VFV. Outside of PvP VFV are just lackluster at best :/

I only play for the pvp so I can't really be bothered to swap, though I do have a veil and obsidian for some instances. I think the new robe might be a big replacement
