Then you'll probably understand that atheists are only known to be atheists if you're taking about religion, and that's the one time they definitely have the most logical viewpoint. It's hard not to sound a bit high and mighty when you're the only ones talking sense. There I go again eh?

Nah it doesn't bother me, I live in the UK. We don't have that much religion really. I have some fun talks with the jehovas witnesses, they freely admit they've never thought about the things I mention. They're coming back when they've done some more research :) But yeah, I just wanted to point out the real preachy ones aren't the atheists.

Lul what? First of all, what you just said isn't regarded as scientific fact, it is a hypothesis. Second of all, just because someone is an atheist doesn't mean they have to agree with the scientific community on everything. If they don't believe in God they are an atheist, there is no other requirements, you could be an atheist and also believe the world is flat.

Likening religious adults to children is insulting to them and their faith. To debunk your analogy - the myth of santa, though severely twisted and turned from the real story, is based off of a real person and therefore there is some truth to the unreal.
