Sounds like your router is blocking the P2P connections required by Destiny. Please read through our [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/11930]Network Troubleshooting Guide[/url] for steps to resolve this issue.

  • That doesn't make sense, though. NAT's open. There is a matchmaking service alert, but xbox support said that it was COD and had nothing to do with Destiny. Had no problems for the week leading up to the dlc with the same setup I have now. Same xbox, same router, same ips.

  • Caterpillar and Hawk errors together indicate a failure to make P2P connections with other players.

  • Would I be able to have an open NAT if P2P was blocked? Also, I'm able to play for a bit, ranges from 10-45 minutes. Yesterday was far worse. By the evening, it was staying connected longer.

  • It is possible that these are intermittent issues related to the route that traffic is taking between you and other players. It's also possible that these are due to disconnections by other players.
