My first witcher ever an I'm having an easy time on death march. The shield combined with fast stamina regen and well timed fodging all you you need. With very hard mobs you can pull back if needed as they're all on s leash

I play on death March, it's honestly not that bad. Just use the hell out of quen, upgrade it and always keep in handy. And learn to duck, dive, dip and dodge

You can change difficulty anytime so, no mistakes ;)
