The Guardians who killed Aethon have never left and were stuck in time. That's why at the end of the VoG the music stops and it's silent. The VoG has never been completed yet because anyone who does gets stuck. Theirs a whole thread about this.
Edit: Also good job on catching that in the diaolog with Petra!

Thanks :) I was also referring more to [i]our[/i] guardians completing the VoG, as opposed to Kabr's fireteam.

Yes, the completion of OUR Guardians fireteam was that we all got stuck in time. We are in an endless loop of completing the VoG. Also a side note. When it says "Guardians make their own fate" that's when the time line of each and every Guardian that's fighting Aethon crosses each other and every Guardian ever is doing damage to Aethon at that same moment in time. That's why we do so much damage to him.

I suppose I see what you mean, but it does raise some questions about bringing weapons outside, and how people like Kabr and Osiris weren't completely wiped from time. Too much to talk about now, at any rate. Thanks for the input.
