It's kind of bullshit you need to purchase a DLC to play the nightfall. Realistically, that's 25% of the game for me. The other 75% being divided amongst VOG, weekly heroic and crucible.. Good job Bungie.
Point is, they shouldn't lock people out from activities. If they want someone to continue to play their product, they should make it available to everyone whenever the choose to play. Of course you fan boys will disagree because you're in love with the game and company and you'll just forgive their bad business practices. A lot of you people sit there and assume I dislike destiny, which I don't because I play it everyday. A lot you assume I don't have the $20 to purchase the DLC. I bought the last DLC for $20, and maybe only did a 1/5th of the activities from it. Hell, this last few days is the first time I realistically played tbd crucible maps. So excuse me if I don't want to waste my money on something I'm sure will be just the same as the last DLC. But, say what you will.
On a more positive note, there was a post on the forums about a little kid who mains a Titan who has cancer. If anyone has a link to that post, please post it in the comments. I can't seem to find it anywhere.
I just bought the DLC and the first mission was a challenge. That doesn't take away from the fact that it's okay to lock out a portion of the game for those who haven't bought the DLC. A lot you people have the nerve to call someone poor or cheap because they haven't bought the DLC. You're also saying I need to invest in the company if you want the content. I'm sorry to say this, but I spend my hard earned money on the original game and the first DLC. The original fame only had about 25gigs of data on the disc, even though the case reads that the disc holds 40gigs of data. I also bought TDB, which was "eh" at best. You're so quick to try and talk down to someone because they point these things out, but won't say shit to the company that ripped you off to begin with. Like I previously stated, I like destiny. I met some decent people from the forums and also via the clans I were in, but that still doesn't take away from the fact the game is incomplete. But when someone does actual invest time in the game by wanting to complete a nightfall, he's is talked down upon for wanting something for free. But if you can read what I typed, I never asked for a damn thing free. But, most you people are closed minded and have biased opinions about things, and this is the wrong place for a person to try and share his complaints or thoughts about the game. I'm sure it it was a hand cannon that you people loved, you'd be complaining every -blam!-ing day to have it buffed or nerfed or have it raised to a new damage level. But I'll leave that alone.

1 ReplyAt least they have now split up weekly and nightfall
-
6 RepliesIt's like $20 dude go work for an hour.
-
10 RepliesI paid for both DLCs and still can't play VOG etc as it seems the game was designed to screw over folks like me that are not friend collectors on the Xbox. IMHO it should be like any other raid... Join up with other random players if one leaves they get replaced by another etc. Sigh...

You can look it at 2 sides if you look it dlc people side its like why we need to do only the old strikes for nightfall
-
Tears.Tears everywhere
-
1 ReplyYou didn't pay for the nightfall. As its a weekly strike what can you do? You want them to not feature the best one they've made the week it comes out? Yeah right
-
Aww look at the little baby throwing a temper tantrum. Maybe on day hell grow up
-
3 Replies8 months later people want the same meal for free because they paid for it once.
-
1 ReplySo..you want to do an end game activity..without buying the end game content...logic.
-
I agree
-
I acttualky got the DLC FOR FREE. I entered my name in someone's stream(igreentreefrogg, you should check him out) and I won one of the codes. He's done giving them away but he is a good streamer.
-
Go buy the -blam!-ing dlc you idiot
-
This DLC is everything I wanted TDB to be. It's worth your discomfort :))))

1 ReplyEdited by Muka Gatals: 5/20/2015 11:50:40 PMChaissyp...I know you got a lot of comments that mocking you here. Don't worry...many players in this forum just kids. They don't understand...its not the $20. Its the concept..that no one can't force us to buy something otherwise we have to wait 1 week. I personally disagree with Bungie way to put the DLC NF in the regular/original Content NF. They should put the DLC as completely additional content. So the DLC Content always be at different place. They should not force player to buy DLC. They should just attract them by making good DLC contents.

Hmmm everyone knew this nightfall would be with dlc content its 20$ dont cry to hard tonight
-
God how hard is it to come up with 20 bucks. Broke ass.
-
3 RepliesSure wish people stop being so cheap
-
This is such a tired and stupid complaint. Why should paying customers be held back by those of you who DECIDE not to purchase the expansion? I want to play the new content, not the same nightfall I've run 10-20 times already just because you can't be bothered to grow along with the game. End game level activities change as a title grows, and you either pay to grow along with the game, or you get left behind. Simple as that.
-
Didn't stop you from getting house of wolves and getting to lol 32
-
They changed the way it works for this reason. The dlc absolutely should be a nightfall. If you didn't buy it, you don't get it that week. But the heroic isn't the dlc strike this week. When tdb came out it was both. So they did consider players not buying the dlc.
-
These tears taste so sweet... You paid for vanilla game, not for DLC. We paid for both vanilla and DLC, so isn't it fair that we get to play DLC strikes/maps that we paid for?
-
It doesn't really matter, you were only going to get ascendant energy anyway.
-
you paid for the nightfall when the game came out dont be butt hurt as the game progresses and you dont.
-
Here we go again.... go beg mummy for the $25 needed to continue playing, no working adult has this problem
-
2 RepliesAre you poor?
-
I agree with you. I have the DLC, but It is not a good thing for non-DLC owners.
