It's kind of bullshit you need to purchase a DLC to play the nightfall. Realistically, that's 25% of the game for me. The other 75% being divided amongst VOG, weekly heroic and crucible.. Good job Bungie.
Point is, they shouldn't lock people out from activities. If they want someone to continue to play their product, they should make it available to everyone whenever the choose to play. Of course you fan boys will disagree because you're in love with the game and company and you'll just forgive their bad business practices. A lot of you people sit there and assume I dislike destiny, which I don't because I play it everyday. A lot you assume I don't have the $20 to purchase the DLC. I bought the last DLC for $20, and maybe only did a 1/5th of the activities from it. Hell, this last few days is the first time I realistically played tbd crucible maps. So excuse me if I don't want to waste my money on something I'm sure will be just the same as the last DLC. But, say what you will.
On a more positive note, there was a post on the forums about a little kid who mains a Titan who has cancer. If anyone has a link to that post, please post it in the comments. I can't seem to find it anywhere.
I just bought the DLC and the first mission was a challenge. That doesn't take away from the fact that it's okay to lock out a portion of the game for those who haven't bought the DLC. A lot you people have the nerve to call someone poor or cheap because they haven't bought the DLC. You're also saying I need to invest in the company if you want the content. I'm sorry to say this, but I spend my hard earned money on the original game and the first DLC. The original fame only had about 25gigs of data on the disc, even though the case reads that the disc holds 40gigs of data. I also bought TDB, which was "eh" at best. You're so quick to try and talk down to someone because they point these things out, but won't say shit to the company that ripped you off to begin with. Like I previously stated, I like destiny. I met some decent people from the forums and also via the clans I were in, but that still doesn't take away from the fact the game is incomplete. But when someone does actual invest time in the game by wanting to complete a nightfall, he's is talked down upon for wanting something for free. But if you can read what I typed, I never asked for a damn thing free. But, most you people are closed minded and have biased opinions about things, and this is the wrong place for a person to try and share his complaints or thoughts about the game. I'm sure it it was a hand cannon that you people loved, you'd be complaining every -blam!-ing day to have it buffed or nerfed or have it raised to a new damage level. But I'll leave that alone.

I wish they'd split the Nightfall into parts, so that those who didn't purchase the DLC, or can't purchase it yet, or don't even want it, can still do Weekly activities associated with their level of investment. Hell they did it with the Strike Playlist, why not Nightfalls? Can't be that hard.

I'm so sick of these posts
-
2 RepliesAnd I sure wish people would stop crying on these forums. How do you think that's going to work out?
-
4 RepliesSo, basically you just want stuff for free...
-
Dlc buy it and earn your nightfall.
-
Lol, no. If you don't buy the DLC you miss out on content, that's working as intended so either buy the DLC or suck it up.
-
nobody locked you out. you chose not to get the dlc. its pretty simple actually.
-
1 ReplyJust wait till next week
-
They unbound the nightfall and weekly just for people like you who didn't buy the DLC. They didn't have to do that, and still you complain? If you didn't pay for the content you're not entitled to it. You didn't buy HoW and that's fine, I'm sure you have your reasons. Now you need to accept the fact that every now and again you will miss a weeks nightfall.

4 RepliesEdited by Ne0nK0ala: 5/21/2015 11:58:57 PMSorry but no. The people who invested in the game should come before the people looking for a free ride, and we want the nightfall to include new maps.
-
The new nightfall was simply awesome. Not knowing what to expect and just winging it. Did it twice. Nice job Bungie!
-
3 RepliesIf you are too stubborn to purchase it, then why complain? Don't take your boyfriend out to dinner tonight. Then you can pay for it.
-
1 ReplyI have the DLC but i do agree with you. Nightfall shouldn't be locked for those who didn't purchased the expansion pass II. There should've been 2 different nightfalls. #1 for those who have the dlc. #1 for those who doesn't have the dlc.
-
Lel. Buy the DLC or stop whinging. I mean, what, do you think you deserve free access to the DLC for nightfalls?
-
5 Replies
If they want someone to continue to play their product
No, they want someone to continue to invest in their product. If you don't buy the DLC, you're not really their primary demographic anymore.

Sure wish I could drive my Ferrari........ Oh wait , I didnt buy one, looks like it's the bus for me
-
HoW is better than the dark below, if that helps you decide to make the purchase or not. I get what you're saying though.
-
1 Replyfor the people that paid for the Dlc they should get more stuff to do. stop being cheap and crying on the forums and go buy the Dlc. it is just 20 ffs
