Halo CE; Anyone else wish Bungie made Halo again like that?
Just throwing a question out there, but does anyone wish Bungie still made Halo, and not only that, but made it like Combat Evolved? I liked the rest ok, particularly Reach, but none of them ever hit everything right like that one. A true system seller. Imagine if they still had control of the franchise. We wouldn't be playing the MMO Destiny, we'd be playing Halo the MMO. While Destiny is good, it's hard to compete with their Spartans and the universe around them. These are just some random thoughts.

2 RepliesWhile I do enjoy CE (Combat Evolved, not Crota's End), I do feel that the sequels are superior in regards to how the campaign flows. The second half of CE was simply retreading much of the first half, and I personally find the Warthog Run at the end to be needlessly difficult and infuriating. For example, [i]Two Betrayals[/i] is a fun level on its own, but the fact that it's literally [i]Assault on the Control Room[/i] backwards makes it sort of boring when the game is played in a marathon.

1 ReplyNo. H2,3,4,reach are all better than halo 1 now. And that's with h:CE having the benefit of nostalgia. It's just too old now.
