Short but the message is powerful. The active present tense puts a new spin on this as well, seeing as how I'm so very used to the passive present. But regardless, I especially enjoyed seeing the imposing resolve of the Exo at the end of this. It gives you that impression that they're not to be taken lightly, even if they're severely outnumbered.

  • Thank you. Was there any part of it that you like particularly?

  • The final line was probably the coolest in the story, but I really liked the description on Charlemagne's estate a lot. I'd say it gives the best visual in the entirety of the story.

  • I really liked the part describing Charlemagne's palace as well. It's a future location I can't wait to bring it to life in a chapter. Does it seem that the Darkness is having more of an effect on Venus than the Vex?

  • I'd say it's hard to say right now. While I did like this piece, it felt a lot like an appetizer. I think a lot more of the juicy parts have yet to come.

  • Alright. There isn't really too much here to discus, but do you think that the Exo speaking, J4, was greatly effected by his former master?

  • Very, but I could also say he had an equally large effect on Charlemagne, if not in greater measure.
