How long do you think before destiny dies?
I say right about the same time as the release of other games like Elder Scrolls Online!
Edit: How many bungie employees are in these forums trying their best at damage control?
Edit 2: LOL, Really love all the colorful comments! Keep em coming and proving why these forums are toxic and proving why destiny is failing. Love it!

Edited by Lull9: 6/1/2015 1:45:46 AMAhhhhh.... this is an old one. Usually shit gets flushed down the toilet and stays down. Somehow this turd floated back up.

After next week, we should be maxed out with her rep.

Eso? Oh, that game that flopped horribly on pc. I'm sure for a console it will be magically awesome though. That whole, you can use your controller thing really makes a world of difference. What? You can use xbox controllers on pc, and the game still sucked? Oh well, I'm sure they redid the whole game and it will completely dominate all consoles.

Here we are and its about done. You are a visionary

Laugh now, tomorrow we all may die

Check how many grimoire cards there are for Fallen Targets. I think it'll keep fresh for longer than you think.

Only boring people get bored

While the forums are extremely toxic, Destiny isn't dying.

Ya Bungie is falling with 20 million players hahahah

Why bother posting on a forum for a game you dont play? Trying to get others to jump ship with you just like every other mmo player who does stuff like this lmao Yet destiny is still one of the most popular games on both consoles and its considered dead or dying but congrats for getting this thread high up on the forum list even though im somewhat contributing to this troll

3 RepliesEdited by SergioTheSlayer: 5/18/2015 7:45:10 PMDestiny will live as long as we allow it to. So far, they have taken many suggestions from us and applied them into the game whether they ended up being famous or infamous. The game is almost entirely community driven and, without people that can find new ways to make the game a challenge and keep things fun, it would die in no time. In fact this is the same with most MMOs, when the people stop finding ways to have fun in a game, they let it die. Destiny is special, in my opinion. It is a FPS that allows for multiple viable ways of combat with random friends leading to unpredictable and fun situations. If you need to find more ways to have fun, then try random load outs with random people in random missions, and don't let things become predictable. Predictability is boring, so if something is becoming a routine then change things up and stop being the definition of insane (doing the same thing and expecting a change of results). We are the people that make the game, we are the people that make it fun, we are the people that choose if it lives or dies.

Edited by McCREE: 5/18/2015 7:26:13 PMLol. ESO? That might be my personal biggest disappointment in gaming history. Pile of trash. Destiny picked up 3M new players between February and April. That, plus the fresh take HoW will bring has me confident that this title will be more than populated well through the summer. Troll somewhere else, buddy. Go check those ESO forums if you want to watch a franchise die.

3 RepliesI don't get it, why play a game you don't even like? I don't like cream in my coffee, I don't buy coffee with cream and then complain about the cream.

6 Replies*makes hateful thread* *complains that he's getting hateful comments and blames community* Bruh y u so dumb

3 RepliesIf you DO NOT enjoy this game then simply don't play it and if you are not here to talk about the game in a meaningful way or give constructive feedback then you need to leave. You are the reason the forums are so toxic.

3 RepliesEdited by AuraMaster: 5/18/2015 5:04:29 PMDude, this is such an overused topic. Destiny will be alive as long as there are things to do, and they have several more expansions on the way, including third subclasses in the Comet. Btw- you are only a 27. You haven't experienced most of the game...

7 RepliesThis post is now about peanuts. Why do you like peanuts? Are you allergic? Maybe I'm just too "toxic" for this thread according to op.

I say right about the same time as the release of other games like Elder Scrolls Online!
Funniest post I read today. Destiny, like all games before it will eventually die, but I can assure you it wont be due to a digital turd like ESO.
-
2 Replies
proving why these forums are toxic and proving why destiny is failing.
OP speculates the quality of future gameplay, starts a flame war, and blames community for toxic behavior. #irony

Your edit 2: describes you... Your post is toxic & a waste of space. It's a grind game & everyone still here knows this. You pointing it out & acting like you are Bryan Williams news breaker is hilarious... Just get out

2 RepliesIf you really think ESO is going to kill ANY game then I feel really bad for you. It's terrible. Go play GW2 instead, there's no premium membership BS and it's better in a lot of other areas. And people still play VoG to this day and a lot of people still haven't done it, so I wouldn't make any assumptions about the lifespan of this game.
-
I'm looking forward to ESO, but I see Destiny being around a Long time. It's only going to get better and bigger. By that time players like you will have moved on and it will be a better game. Anything will get boring when you play the shit out of it.

3 RepliesHow long? 12 years. After the saga is finished, and latecomers get in on the action. That's assuming they shit down the servers. Otherwise, this game will live forever. And for the love of God, it's a short term event showcasing an awesome new public game modes while giving you awesome stuff for it. It doesn't even scratch the surface of what HoW has to offer.
