New ether chest abuse
Edit: disregard 95% of my statement below.
You all cheese the game however you like.

Hate to blow the secret but Bungie might want to know that the no life twitch full time Destiny players are already abusing "manipulating" the brand new ether chests for treasure keys.
How you ask?
[b]they defeat boss, quickly find chest, open it, get on sparrow and leave the area (zone out) then quickly ride back into the area and the chest is still there for rewards to be collected again. [/b]

Just thought Bungie administrator folks might want to know this. Seems like maybe a glitch.
Maybe Bungie won't care. These folks have plenty of time and no lives to farm all these chests anyway so guess they will have 20 keys by Tuesday and be level 34

Edit 2: you all are loving this. Keep at it. If you hate snitches and want to cheese the chests then every comment and bump raises Bungies attention.
And if you want to cheese go ahead. Every time you do it also raises the attention meter. So have fun. Cheese baby cheese. That's this game.

Bungie has known about this glitch since the game dropped in September...and they've chosen to either do nothing about it....or have given doing anything about it very low priority. So I simply stopped considering it a bug/glitch at this point, and part of the game's mechanics until further notice......

I suppose if you want to make up for the chests you didn't find find day 1,2,3 for non redditors...then it's quasi alright. But yeah man I'm standing on chest, they zip away and come back and get a key nearly every second pull it seems. Its definitely frustrating to see...and yeah I did it a few times to see how exactly this worked so I could accurately report to feedback. (Believe me, I don't want to keep opening chests, all of my inventories are overflowing already...and that was day one!) Day 2 required me to delete at least a dozen exotics and faction copies...just to move a few items. Day 3 was very limiting....by the time I hit pvp I had to really watch my postmaster for the overflow. And I forgot this on my hunter and lost 4 rows of how stuff for PvP junk! Oops! But the weirdest thing was that a key from an event will open any etheric light chest....even in a different zone! (It should not be possible to use a key from a different event to pull from a newly completed event in a different zone I didn't ever fire a shot in.)

Well intense farming is required for keys. I have only 5 and ive opened 100 or so chests

I don't know for sure but I believe bungie new about the glitch but considering that they were putting the update out late any way I don't think they wanted To spend more time trying to fix it.

World event was about to spawn at archers line, i had just opened chest at anchor of light, i zipped over to archers line to catch my 3rd world event, and there was an etheric chest. I opened it. With a key from a different event! Wow! Bungie, you should nuke the key after one use! (Unless this is by design...but i doubt it!)
