Sadly, most control maps cater to shotties. If you were to stay in an enclosed area on a large map, holding that area down well, go you! If you run around in the "sardine can" maps with a shottie, screw you.

I prefer my light of the abyss for some maps, the range and charge rate usually gets the drop on people (mostly because my best shotgun is the vog one) but when HoW drops im gonna buy a two to the morgue (my favorite shotgun) and roll it to perfection

Lol sorry i guess i forgot about that, i would have to say no, i honestly think any strategy is perfectly fine. I use bad juju for pvp because thats my play style and i dont feel any weapon needs a nerf of buff, after HoE drops the vendors will be selling non-peashooter AR's that you can reroll to perfection and i have last word and thorn and i dont even really like using them. If somebody gets the drop on me with a shotgun they earned that kill because the nature of shotguns are high high risk high reward weapons they are supposed to be a 1 shot kill
