I am a Christian, and I don't think I've ever "rejected" scientific theories, I just don't believe in some. But when you say that we can't claim the Bible and Jesus to be true (which is, in fact, truth), why can you guys "claim" to say the Earth is millions of years old, and that the Earth was created by a sudden explosion of space matter, and that humans USED to evolve from apes? We both have the right to claim what we believe is right. But, when God opens your eyes to the reality of his mercy and love, you will finally see, what Truth is.

But you can't claim it as [u]the truth[/u] because none of it is proven. [u]Science[/u] has proven scientific theories [u]with evidence.[/u] [u]Religion[/u] has [u]no proven evidence[/u] all it has is faith.

Supernatural events within the Bible contradict science. 2) in regards to B.C & A.D, they are being out academically as year markers. There is a trend among scholars towards using "BCE" and "CE" as year markers rather than BC and AD. As abbreviations for Before the Common Era and Common Era, they do not specifically privilege Christianity; instead, they simply make reference to the fact that we are living in an era shared in common between Christians and other religions — though Christianity and Judaism are the two religions usually in mind. 3) you have to keep in mind we weren't as advanced 2,000 years ago so we couldn't explain things. Now we have science and explanations to things we couldn't explain before. Past mythologies used religion to explain the unexplainable versus now we can explain what people that unexplainable 2,000 years ago.

1) How does science support the great flood? 2) How does science explain woman being made from man's rib? 3) How does science explain humans living 1,000 years when Adam & Eve were around? 4) How does science support the earth being around for roughly 10,000 years according to the bible versus how old it actually is?

Great flood- Fossils of fish, on top of mountains Women and ribs- man needed a helper, so God put Adam into a sleep and made a woman out of his rib. Adam & Eve- Adam and Eve had a lot of kids, and this kids had kids, and those kids had kids, and people lived to be about 800 years old. Earth's Age- According to the Bible, there were about 4000 years BC, therefore making the Earth, according to the Word of God, about 6000 years old

Those fossils were found deep in the rock, meaning the were laid down my sediments millions of years ago before the mountains were formed. So great flood is false. Your second point is just ridiculous and doesn't prove anything at all. Third point, is incest which by your belief is sin, and you didn't provided any proof anyway. Earth's age according to Earth's age aka reality, is about 4.5 billion years.

Men and women both have 12 pairs of ribs. Convinced? Ok, look into abiogenesis and you tell me which is more likely (Judaic/Christian God vs Nature). Also, why would an all powerful God, the one that just created a man from *not a rib*, need a rib to create a women?

Do you realize the earth has been around for roughly 4.5 billion years and the earth had been shifting around that whole time? If the flood happened where did the water go? There would need to be an excess amount of water created to flood the entire earth. Incest was needed until Leviticus, when it became a sin. Carbon dating has been proven to be innaccurate
