Not a christian but explain how science proves your atheism?
English
-
Science doesn't disprove God but supports a disbelief for him. Supernatural events within scripture contradict science and believing in something you can't observe does as well (god/gods).
-
Can you observe your grand grand grand father? No, Did he exist? Yes, you are a proof of that
-
Edited by FL NIGHTMARE: 5/14/2015 3:13:43 PMUntrue we could dig him up date the body and compare our dna and by looking at the dna of everyone from him to me have a great deal of evidence to support that he indeed is my great great whatever
-
I'm talking about an ancestor who you don't know where he is buried or his name or any information
-
Then if you're asking for proof he existed not who he is I point to the fact that to our knowledge at that time in history he was not the first human so I must have had a great great whatever according to ever thing we know about biology. Thats pretty solid evidence
-
Can you observe your grand grand grand father? No, Did he exist? Yes, you are a proof of that
Obviously, whats your point?
-
I'm saying that the same argument atheists use for god you can use for your grand grand grand father. You don't have any proof that he existed. But you believe it because it's the logical thing to do. You came from somewhere. Unless you're Jesus lol
-
No its not at all the same argument lol so your saying when my parents die they never existed? Lol
-
You can believe in God and not be part of a certain religion and have no such scriptures.
-
You can believe in God and not be part of a certain religion and have no such scriptures.
I know that, your point?
-
You said science disproves " Supernatural events within scripture contradict ". I'm saying that I may not be part of a religion so what science disproves does not disprove my belief, it disproves that certain religion.
-
So what created the universe according to you?
-
That's not important, I don't want to have that kind of debate. I just wanted to make clear that being an atheist does not make you a representative of science and in no way science disproves god neither approves him. So you can believe whatever you want
-
I just wanted to make clear that being an atheist does not make you a representative of science
I never said that was the case.
in no way science disproves god neither approves him.
Based off of science and logic we can deduce that god is not real, also if he isn't proven real you don't need to disprove him.
-
Based off of science and logic How? By more theories?
-
Do you know the difference between a Scientific Theory and a Theory? There is a huge difference.
