I have a Silvered Mulan-D sniper with the ambush scope and armor piercing rounds which has quickly become my favorite...it's very easy to handle in PvP. I also have a Black Suros PPG-96 AR which proved to be quite effective in the IB and both are Crucible rare weapon drops.

Rares in IB? Damn, that's definitely going in with a handicap if you did well.

I actually did better than I thought starting at level 27 and eventually got to level 28. I also used an uncommon rocket launcher since nothing else was working effectively with heavy ammo.
