Nerfing the rate of fire is not nonsense. It is one of the major problems. It's high rate of fire combined with the high stability that makes it so powerful.

And range. They could just nerf the range (just a bit) if something really has to change, that would solve most of the 'pretended' issues and not destroy the gun.
