I remember that game so fondly, bugs and nerfs and all. The fun but terrible siren that basically made only a few classes really dominate in pvp, melee being way better than ranged for same, the brutal slog to grind bounty hunter experience. And when they added space flight, getting my fett jetpack...I spent more hours than I could guess in that game and still miss it sometimes.

The Bounty Hunter system is one of my favorite features in any video game, ever. I never got high enough to track actual players, but when you're just strolling through town and you see some random shit go down it's like watching a street fight lol, but between Jedis and Bounty Hunters.

I only tried once or twice, got beat, Jedi had some pretty good perks and it was hard taking them with a ranged class, at least when I tried. I always did love seeing those things go down though. I remember hunting krayt dragons for pearls to sell with my melee blend build, setting up macros to change weapons so I could use the different dodges. I remember seeing people on the Jedi grind, one week they'd be harvesting materials for a crafting class, then killing low level mobs outside theed for some combat class, dancing in the cantina, and so on. It was my first mmo.

Just talking about it starts bringing back memories I forgot I even had. I think I spent a lot of time on Naboo. One time I was able to tame a weak Rankor and I was sooo proud of myself lol. I took that thing stomping through some major city and it was something.

It just had so much, there were so many legit ways you could play. There were people that we all knew whose main focus was crafting. And it was such a good crafting system. Or being able to tip entertainers for the buffs they gave. The creature handler like you mentioned, or smugglers. And the big ships that you could set up like flying houses, or setting up your own house and decorating it. There was never a lack of things to do, that's for sure.
