I would rather see existing exotics get buffed.
Boosted to the point that they dramatically outperform legendaries, and match the awe-inspiring text they are described with in the Grimoire.

Vex, Last word, Plan C, Gjaller, Truth, ... Icebreaker, PAT.... to some extent maybe, Invective..... well, some of those feel exotic, and well, first 5 do have some distinct advantages Due to current ammo in crucible, IB and Invective are unique in heir usefulness, PAT has radar making it superior (the cloaking I find more hindering as I cannot always see my targeting reticule)
