for some reason true sight boosts aim assist and sure shot is for high stability hand cannon which most are not sadly

Sureshot increases initial aim assist, which is all you need to score kills on PvE, since most stuff die with one hit. But overall, sights provide only slight differences. You can get away with any, provided HC base stats are good enough.
