It unfortunately isn't useful in VOG.
Edit for the idiots:
Swordbreaker(for minotaurs at synch plates and confluxes), black hammer and icebreaker are all better options at different parts of VOG. Sga and black hammer combo for atheon ftw.

I'm not sure why you're aggressively picking fights with people who have a difference of opinion. I'll go against my better judgement and provide a sensible counterpoint that yes, there are plenty of options better than SGA but If you're going into hard VOG with new players that don't have any Oracle disruptor weapons, there is no weapon more useful that SGA against Oracles at that point. The people you are teleported with are essentially doing little to no damage and SGA provides unlimited ammo, it's incredibly effective and probably your only chance of survival.

You really do suck, I have PF and it's not that good in PvE compared to shotguns or snipers. This guy is right on the fact that SGA and Black hammer is a really good combo for Atheon. You are the first person I've heard of say PF is better than the other options this guy has stated. To one shot an oracle someone must fire some shots to kill in hard and normal you gotta be kissing it to get the one shot. You sir have wasted time sucking.
