Awsome so far. Odd to think that the players had so much light, even without the armor.

It's not exactly advantageous to the players. They're targeted more by the darkness, it's more of a disadvantage then anything. If you know your lore, light is the thing that powers the Guardians' abilities. So the simple equation of "more light = stronger/more abilities"
