It doesn't sound like it's destinys servers. Look up network settings under help on this Page/app.
You need to be at least nat 2 with the right ports forwarded on your router.
A wired connection is also the way to go as wifi tends to drop out if other users are connected.

My network setup for the XB1 is fine. It has an open NAT with 40-50ms ping, 35mbps down, and roughly 15mbps up. The ping and up/down speed tests were taken on a PC. Also, the XB1 is always wired.
