You forgot the Multi-Tool. The range advantage of a scout rifle over a hand cannon is pretty significant. And, just so you know, the Strangers Rifle is really kind of useless in Iron Banner. A level 16 rare is not a good option going against fully upgraded legendary's and exotics.

No but for crucible it's amazing.

Easiest counter is not being bad at video games. If you died to thorn it's because you failed in marksmanship or were trying to use the wrong weapon type for the range you were fighting.

Red death not included on here? I've beaten a ton of thorn players using red death and the health regency after cancels out the poison degen

It's a "good pulse rifle". So belongs there at 5

I guess, I'd put RD over about everything on that list except another thorn, maybe Vex. And is much better then most pulse rifles

Bump! At mid/close range vex is way deadlier than thorn. I suck at PVP and die very few times to thorn.
