  • No puzzels - seen more complex child puzzles then what's in the raids No six man team - and yet people have soloed the raid and still complain about only 3 man teams? HA No chest - there's an endgame chest, it rewards players good enough to complete PoE, not those that jump into a checkpoint to get a chest leave I'm not a Bungie *apologist, I'm a realist that can see what we have actually been given.

  • We have been given a pvp game mode disguised as pve end game content. I hope to -blam!-ing god you dont work for bungie if you think this thing passes for a raid. "more complex childrens puzzles" Less than 20% of the community has completed any raids, 90% of those people dont know how to do the bridge in crotas end. 90% of christmas noobs have no clue how to do vog. Poe, kill shit, defuse bombs, kill shit, profit. -blam!-ing stupid. Get -blam!-ed dude.

  • People can't complete raids because groups are only looking for experienced people... so how can the inexperienced gain experience when people only want those that have experience? And how is PoE a PvP game mode? last time I checked you don't kill other players so it can only be PvE... VoG - kill shit, destroy oracles, kill shit, profit... holy shit it's the same process as PoE... simply amazing isn't it

You're using CE as your defense. Pro raid guys use VoG as our argument. Yes CE failed but believing this is better due to the lack of complexity albeit at a child's level according to you is just as naive.

  • VoG was difficult... for the first week. As soon as people figured out how to do it it didn't even take an hour to complete with a coordinated team. Those "puzzles" were somewhat complex at the beginning and that was it. and CE was a joke. I'm not using it as a defense either. Yes VoG can't be beaten solo... but it can, and has been, two manned, which is still less then a group of three. Use VoG as your argument all you want but it's not a very compelling one.

  • Right so what's your point exactly. I hope it's not pro PoE. Because that seems like something you'd hate even more from atop your high horse.

  • I'm not going to go on about being pro PoE because I haven't played it yet. What I am saying is that you can't deny that between VoG, CE and PoE, the main components of progression is the same, just that the setting and context is different.

  • Right but that goes the same for story missions and strikes being the same. We have to draw a line somewhere. I'd love for all of Destiny to have more cinematics and more story focused. That's not happening anytime soon. So I'd rather play something that does have a learning curve compared to something that doesn't.

  • I agree with you on that, I can't deny that that initial learning curve makes it interesting. Honestly something they could have done with PoE could have been; fireteam of 6 and then split into two teams of 3 Each team has to fight through a different section of PoE and in each area one team has to complete an objective that will help the other team until they meet in the final room to face the final boss. The order of the rooms change each run and the teams and the objectives change from one run to another That would require a learning curve to get to know each objective as well as replay value of each run never being the same.

  • See in that short time you came up with something I think sounds great and would still be a new game mode. I like that the level 28 can be played over and over. That was a good idea imo.

  • That idea is something I have been tossing up in my mind for a while now, it would be hard to implement in existing content but for new content it wouldn't be too difficult to add. And I agree, and if I remember correctly the level 28 also has MM which is also a good choice, it allows new players to play with others and get experience for the harder versions. I hope they do something like this for the raids as well as it would increase the number of players that have participated and completed a raid
