True. I do like that they are making content for all levels of players. Totally a good call. I just feel like things like no save points and higher leveled AI are artificial difficulty.
Like, not being able to kill Crota until you had a 31 sword runner. The game play wasn't more difficult, you just had to be at a certain level to do enough damage.
But this seems even worse. It's like saying Crota is hard bc sometimes the sword despawns. Or aetheon is hard because sometimes he wouldn't teleport 3 people or the oracles would all spawn at once. Leaving your progress of such a high level activity to the mercy of connection is not a valid difficulty parameter,IMO.
I think you could do it on normal as a 30. When the first teams to completed it had someone be a 31, they didn't try taking Crota down 3 times per sword drop, their timing was probably not great, and didn't know about making orbs for the swordbearer to get a super. I bet it can be done and have asked some friends to try but they just told me I was crazy for wanting to try.
Yeh, I'm excited about it. I think it will be fun and worth the time. I just wish there was something in place for connection drops or fireteam members leaving. But I don't know how they could do that without ending up with everyone just passing around round 5 check points.
