I've done Crota since the launch of The Dark Below, every week including hard mode with no problem. I've been trying today for about 2 hours and Crota is so glitched again, it stands up very fast, he kills the swordbearer even being invisible. Is anyone else experiencing this problem after today's patch?

You're quite right actually! I've been experiencing lag every time I do a Crota raid, regardless of my own connection or the hosts'. Yep, we've tried different hosts.
