Useless in pvp. Very useful in pve.
It lasts for the full duration of your stealth (and is lengthened by shadowjack), subsequent melee hits don't knock you out if it.

See, now that IS useful. And that's kind of what I thought it should be. Not the total waste of an exotic slot that it is in PvP.

Yeah no point really unless you're not getting to 32 without them or you're really jonesing for the discipline.
