Funny how its the only IB weapon that doesn't have the highest impact in it's class.

Pulse Rifle and Rocket don't have the most in their class

Pulse rifle hasn't been released, so I wouldn't say anything about it. It doesn't matter what others speculate, because it's not concrete information. Rocket launcher is slow RoF with high blast radius and high velocity, that would be classified in the low RoF/high impact category. The only other gun so far from IB with high RoF/low impact is the Perun's Fire.

Rocket has high velocity as opposed to impact. Haven't seen the pulse.

I thought about that too. Every single other IB weapon hits like a truck, then you have a F'n pea shooter. I woulda expected this to fire as slow as a scout and hit as hard as Mike Tyson, but somehow it's the exact opposite.

At least it's the only bad weapon in IB. I haven't seen the pulse rifle but no way it's as useless.
