Seriously, I am former Army and I laughed at that, but some of those Air Force dudes work damn hard and deploy like the rest so dont hate too much! I had no respect til I worked with AF JTACS and some crew chiefs though haha

Hey though...you wanna be all big and hard about it good for you. I respect anyone that earns it. Those guys attached to my unit definitely deserved respect. True they ain't really a grunt, but they're good. I met some PR's a few times too while going to various schools. I'd want them on my side in any fight. Oh yeah...they're AF. All I'm saying is that you're just talking shit. That's ok though.

Same shit, except for infantry training, infantry life and they don't kick doors? They called in artillery, which any decent small unit leader in an infantry unit can do themselves.

There is more to the AF then Fobbits. I had 3 tours to Iraq and 2 of those I was assigned under an Army mission. My last was to Camp Bucca TIF doing route recon and chain gangs to a British air base for conairs.

He's not asking for thanks He's asking for people to respect ALL veterans and people should. Someone puts their life on the line to protect your freedom you shouldn't go around bashing them insulting them and disrespecting them for having the courage to go out and do what you didn't (not you but people who do those things) And that goes for every country

As a veteran I see exactly what he is doing, asking for thanks and respect. They volunteered. I could give 2 f#cks if someone bashes veterans or even myself. They are just stupid and you cannot cure stupid.

It's always been a thing of mine that veterans and active duty deserve respect you know? Yeah they volunteer it just gets irritating to me to know people can actually be that stupid and ignorant to trash someone whose served so I think that's the view I was looking at it from you may be right about the attention thing though but either way people should be taught to respect veterans and honestly anyone for that matter
