Could no land beyond be useful if the bolt action was quicker and the damage more equal to a normal sniper

It's fine as it is. It's "bad" because scrubs can't use it. I have no problems using it, 10+ killstreaks easy

Quicker bolt action mechanism and I would be sold. I feel like I could walk to the kitchen. Grab a drink. Sit down. Grab controller and watch as the animation finishes up

If the bolt action was quicker, and you could carry more ammo for it, it would actually be a viable primary. Just to see how it would go, I used it on the Shrine of Oryx story mission as my primary. Just could not have enough ammor to keep using it. I had to go to my special quite often until I finally picked up 3 more rounds for the blasted thing.

If you sped up the cocking animation for it, it would be decent. It would at least be more fun to use than it is now.

I had an idea on how to fix it. Instead of the useless damage after kill, make it so the rechamber speed is increased for a short while.
