Had that same problem for most of yesterday with Iron Banner. Went 10 matches straight being dropped in on the losing side at halfway through the match. It didn't seem to matter if I stayed in matchmaking or left and re-entered matchmaking. With three blue rewards the entire stretch.

I agree that does suck joining a match halfway through, but I'm not sure if this is the same problem. You can always just do another Iron Banner match but the weekly strike can only be done once. Also the weekly is guaranteed to give you strange coins, an engram, vanguard marks, and vanguard reputation [url]http://www.destinygamewiki.com/wiki/Weekly_Heroic_Strike[/url] and the crucible is always random with drops. I've played 5 or 6 crucible matches in a row, playing all the way through without receiving an engram or anything before =/

True. Though this occurred 10 times in a row regardless of leaving matchmaking or staying in it. I'm thinking the matchmaking algorithm is broken.

haha, that is the general feeling most people get when items don't drop for them. I just feel like it's bad luck. That's probably what's kept me playing this game for so long lol I think Destiny gave me a type of gambling addiction =P

I don't mind bad rewards in general, I enjoy the playing. However I do mind being dropped into loosing matches back to back for hours, In IB where a lose equals zero rep. points earned. Include to this poor rewards and they are just become the Icky icing In the cake.
