Wasn't it in the game at the very beginning and bungie removed it from the loot table? There could possibly be more then just the one out there if so.

Yes it was .. I had the bounty for the FoAF. It was very early on, during the Queen's Wrath. The bounty dropped in the Crucible, as an end roll reward. I completed the first 2 stages, but kept failing the 3rd stage .. & 3 failures required 1 Mote to continue the bounty. .. I didn't have many Motes early on, & quite simply, just ran out of them, so the bounty lapsed ... a short while later, Bungie pulled the bounty altogether .. there was an issue with the FoAF, can't remember what it was though ? I wasn't alone in getting the bounty, I saw other people receive it at end rolls too .. so maybe someone else on these forums also remembers seeing/having it during the Queen's Wrath ?

Bounties lapse? Or just this bounty?

It was only the FoAF bounty that lapsed .. but only if you didn't spend the 1 Mote to continue/try again.

I'll have to remeber that if and when I finally get it. I get exotic bounties all the time so I am hoping it will drop once it is released again by bungie. With my crap pvp skills I have no idea how I will actually complete the bounty.
