Hahahaha.. You think they can own firearms in Baltimore??? They ain't no Texas!
-
Umm, yeah you can own guns in Maryland....
-
Fun fact: Wasp spray is actually one of the most effective weapons in the city. It is super easy to hit someone with and will temporarily blind anyone who gets it in their eyes. Only hospitals have an antidote for it. It's actually what colleges in Baltimore tell students to keep around the house for protection.

No way for real?

Edited by QuackFever: 4/28/2015 5:27:40 AMColleges in Baltimore aren't that intelligent. It's better than nothing, but rapists and murderers aren't -blam!- and murdering if they're dead.
-
Colleges in Baltimore aren't that intelligent? They have some of the most prestigious medical schools on the east coast, possibly the country.
-
And yet they suggest wasp spray as a primary response to a lethal threat. I wonder why cops don't carry wasp spray. Just because you've got good medical schools does not mean you know the first thing about the application of force. You just understand the results better.

Edited by CaptainMericah: 4/28/2015 2:58:08 PMYou're an idiot. Cops use pepper spray to the same effect, only pepper spray doesn't cause permanent damage. If wasp spray goes untreated, it can cause permanent blindness and nerve damage. Not everyone has legal access to firearms, and the college understands that the use of lethal force isn't something that all people want to live with, so they found an extremely effective option that students can use to subdue potential attackers without killing them. Muted.

If pepper spray is effective (and has actually been proven so, unlike wasp spray) and does not cause permanent damage, why would you want to use wasp spray. Get pepper spray. Sounds like a no brainer. - Der
-
Because wasp spray works and you can get it just about anywhere.
-
As much as I'd like to carry around my mossberg 535 and express my opinions of lethal force, we all know walking around with a shotgun is a terrible idea. Carrying wasp spray is probably the most legal way to defend yourself within the law of the state
-
No, Maryland still issues carry permits. True, it's a may-issue state so that blacks and the poor can be denied a permit, but they still have carry permits. Besides, he said that they suggest they keep them in the home for home defense.. Even in Baltimore you can keep a shotgun at home.

Edited by rustymuffins: 4/28/2015 7:19:50 AMI'm Not too familiar with Maryland gun laws, in my opinion an open carry policy is fine by me. But if that is the case for Baltimore then I'd have to agree with my gun being the primary defense. Plus I just love hearing the blast of any gun being fired
-
I don't love the sound of a 12 gauge indoors, but staying alive is nice. Maryland is a pretty crappy state as far as gun ownership goes. Most of the eastern bloc states are similar.
-
That sounds pretty cool actually. And more fun to watch someone go through
-
I do.
