These hard modes are synthetically made harder. It's lazy. Increase the enemy level and take away the ability to revive. These hard modes would be tons more fun if that weren't the case. Imagine. Instead of a 30 sec revive. Make it 1 minute. This would cut down the wipes almost completely. Crota raid is a joke with or without cheese. But anyway if you had a longer revive for hard mode it would be cause for real firefights, get your friend up and keep it moving. No more-"Oh that's a wipe" stupid.
The actual play and complete a checkpoint time is much shorter than the Time you spend wiping.
Yes you have some good points there, but they need to put some real thought into these raids. Vog was awsome. Could be better. But like I said, because of the no revive you could spend hours on the Oracles because two people die (wipe), start over.
People would be much less inclined to cheese if this were the case. The game is meant to be an fps not jump of cliff because 2 people died game.
You die then I spend 1 min 30 secs clearing the enemies out from around you then revive and keep it moving. It's still hard because what the boomers or hobgoblins can 2 or 3 shot you.
Sorry for the rant but I've played many many game where the difficulty gets scaled up as you move along but your given means to cope adapt and keep playing. Not jump off ledge kill yourself amd start over.

No need to apologize, your rant had more thought than a lot of these replies. I didn't think about adding a longer revive timer. That could also be a better way of doing things. Maybe using your super to revive people, making orbs that much more valuable.

Yea I know. Just think of how much more fun the actual fps gameplay would be if it didn't consists of having to wipe every 5 min and playing so safely you hide across the map sniping just to not die in 2 shots. Imagine being that guy who cleared away the enemies to revive all 5 dead team mates. A struggle to do so but still.. fun. Having a revive timer alone would add another element of fun playability to the hm raids
