2 problems i have with this.
First you left out how the gameplay has actually gone down in quality over the years (peaking at black ops 1).
Two seeing how you love exo suits your just another person who prefers to play a different type of game than the original cods all together. Should have just re-named the game to like idk titanfall or something?!?! Lol
But all joking aside call of duty was suppose to be fast game play where you relied on your gun skills not taking advantage of vehicles or cheap bullspit. But that's exactly what is has turned into. I liked call of duty because i could go 32-2 in a team death match unlike halo where getting 20 kills a round was considered good or battlefield where you run around a 3 mile wide map to get sniped by someone or shot by a tank while your in a building and getting 10 kills a match is pure luck. Bring back the small maps and fast gameplay and call of duty shall receive my respect again.

I agree, cod was at its best MW-BO era where the most skilled player with the fastest trigger finger and accurate aiming won the match and deserved to do so .todays games have became way to gimmicky and futuristic instead of slightly more serious and real like the older games..I personally feel the progression system in the later games aren't as good either , I prefer to earn my cammos attachments and weapons not just pick up the best weapon right from the get go .. Not to mention the number of weapons available and attachments available has decreased massively especially the last two releases .. I suppose I'm a cod player who grew up playing those games and can no longer relate to them with the new direction the games are going in

Exactly i like how you spelled that out. I personally liked black opps the best because of the progression system and the perks. The main perks had extras you could unlock and they were balanced like i remember when you put on dead silence the pro version that you unlocked was the opposite and you could hear dead silence then. Also cold blooded was actually cold blooded not split into 4 different perks and the pro to that was no red name or crosshairs when targeted. It was all balanced. The guns were balanced too, no other cod since then have i been able to use EVERY gun efficiently. And yes i feel the same the earlier cods had a much more serious feel, MW3 and their dog tag mode ended that. Hardcore capture the flag from the original black opps was the best to me and then sabotage from the original modern warfare was a lost gem as well.

Yeah mate definitely .. BO was my favourite ( also love WaW) very good maps and a fantastic selection of weapons .. In all honesty I would much prefer a next gen ww2 cod than all this silly futuristic nonsense .. Something gritty taking cod back to its roots fast paced engagements , learning your maps and using choke points to your advantage ; non of this sights that see through walls or grenades that make everyone glow red , jet packs and all that nonsense .... The only thing I can praise AW for is the campaign and I feel that's more to do with the hardware available now as oppose to the story being any better than previous games

Yes this guy gets it. ^^ When i wanted an xbox one just cause it had more memory for the same price i went with the advanced warfare edition well i got more time on the campaign than i do the multiplayer lol the campaign was some what engaging actually And yea a throwback that has some time and effort put into it and getting rid of all that futuristic crap would be awesome.

The first part is entirely up to opinion. I don't think the gameplay has changed much in terms of quality. As for the second part, I think the Exo Suits added some much needed verticality to the game while still giving you quite a few moves for the ground. I've noticed people criticize it for making the games too different, which confused me as people were whining about how similar the games were before that.

Yea i personally never had a problem with previous games. But the first part is true the games should have become smoother not choppier and lag ridden and the hit ratio for bullets way better in black ops 1 than ghosts. And the exo suits changed the game too much i (as a original call of duty fan) never wanted any change like that. Fixing lag issues and ghost bullets would have been my first concern. They are over complicating a game that was good when it was simpler. But how do you put a new one out every year and continue to rake in record profits without drastically changing gameplay from time to time. I would love to see all original call of duty games, starting at modern warfare ending at black opps 2, combined in one giant pvp game all maps, guns and possible perks.

Not trying to be an ahole, but most cod players don't do well at battlefield games. It's a different kind of game; so you have to treat it as so. Relying on teamates is huge in battlefield. Cod is more about individual play.

No i totally agree with you, thats why i liked cod and now dont play either. That's why i always chose cod over battlefield was if i had a good enough game i could carry my team to victory but thats just not possible in battlefield.
