Do you knock before entering?
So I'm just wondering if when you get online and see a friend is on Crota or VoG with an open spot on their fireteam do you ask if they need/want help or do you just join them?
Personally, I always ask first. Even though they aren't set to Invite only or closed I just think it's polite. A lot of my friends can two man CE & I'd hate to mess up someone's flawless raider run or something like that.
As a side note, if you are attempting flawless raider set your fireteam to closed. If you're just practicing lamps or bridge maybe set it to invite only.

I always send a message and ask if they could use 1 more; it's rude to just hop in without an invite.

If you dont knock first you are a dick. If im dropping crota in the bathroom you should definitely knock first. Just because you are my friend doesnt mean you can come in and help me drop him.

They'll usually send me an invite if they want me in, or if I see 1 trying to solo something, I'll send a message asking if he needs help.

1 ReplyAlways ask. They may be waiting on someone already. Plus its kinda rude to imo. But like most on my friends list, I always set mine to invite only to avoid it from happening
